Introduction to Steeking with Amy

With a little planning ahead, fair-isle steeks are easily accomplished without the use of a sewing machine. Learn the anatomy of a steek as well as two methods used to secure, cut and finish this exciting knitting technique. No pre-class homework is required but students will have homework swatches to knit between class days. Please bring at least 2 colors of Jamieson & Smith Jumper weight Shetland yarn to class as well as a 16 inch circular knitting needle size US #3-4, an approximate 2.25mm crochet hook and a pair of scissors!
